Crowd Science Course (Level 5 - accredited)

The Introduction to Crowd Science course is a Level 5 qualification (IIRSM and Highfield) developed and consistently updated by Dr Keith Still. This course includes 18 modules that cover Dr Still’s risk analysis tools and their application in planning and managing places of public assembly. This course is presented around the world and Kennedy Crowd Safety Solutions is the only Canadian service provider approved by Dr Still to provide the workshop on his behalf.

Aims and objectives
The aim of this course is to provide insights into the causes (and prevention) of crowd related disasters, providing the learner with the relevant tools and methods to assess crowd safety and crowd risk analysis in places of public assembly. To attain the Level 5 accreditation, learners must submit two written assignments for grading by Dr Still and attain more than 50% (pass).

Operation Plan Development

In Canada there are no mandated formats for operational plans. Over the past 15 years we have established confidence in developing hundreds of operational plans following the military SMEAC format (Situation, Mission, Execution, Administration/Logistics, Command/Communications). This format is easily adapted to outline event operations and with the required appendices can support the needs of any municipal permitting process.

Importance of documentation
Event risk assessment
Responsibility matrix (RACI)
Importance of documenting interoperability within the plan
Emergency response procedures
Evacuation planning
Show-stop procedures
Emergency communications considerations

The individual rate for Introduction to Introduction to Crowd Science workshop (ICS) is $1,000
Group rates for the ICS course are based on two group options (5-10 and 10-20).
Dr Still is available to personally attend and present for an additional cost
Pricing for the Operation Plan Development instruction is based on a group up to 5 people.
